Fans of Ajay Devgn have a reason to celebrate! The much-awaited romantic comedy De De Pyaar De 2 is all set to hit the theatres on 14th November 2025. Earlier reports suggested that the movie might release in May 2025, but the makers have now confirmed the November release.
The sequel brings back Rakul Preet Singh along with Ajay Devgn, while R. Madhavan will also join the star cast. However, it is still not confirmed whether Tabu will return in the sequel. The film is directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by T-Series Films and Luv Films.

Shooting Updates
The shooting of De De Pyaar De 2 began in June 2024 with a traditional Muhurat ceremony in Mumbai. Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor rang the first clap and extended his best wishes to the team. Rakul Preet Singh shared her excitement on Instagram, posting a picture with her script and captioning it, “Back to my favorite set, De De Pyaar De 2 begins.”
The film’s principal photography was held across India and London, promising a visually appealing backdrop for the story.
