Security agencies in Delhi were put on high alert on Tuesday after bomb threats targeted two CRPF schools and three court complexes in the city. The threats reportedly came via an email from the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. While initial investigations revealed the threats to be fake, authorities increased security and vigilance across Delhi.

Bomb Threat at Patiala House Court

The bomb threat surfaced ahead of the court appearance of accused Jasir Bilal, also known as Danish, at Patiala House Court. Following the email alert, the bomb disposal squad (Bomb Squad) and dog squad immediately reached the court premises. Additional security, including Rapid Action Force (RAF), was deployed outside the court. After a thorough search of the court complex, no suspicious items were found, and the area was declared safe.

CRPF Schools in Delhi Receive Bomb Threats

On the same day, two CRPF schools in Dwarka and Prashant Vihar received similar email threats. Police and CRPF officials evacuated the schools and conducted detailed searches of the premises. No explosives or suspicious materials were found, and the threats were declared false. The Delhi Fire Brigade received calls about the bomb threat around 9:00 AM and responded immediately.

Increased Security at Saket, Rohini, and Patiala Courts

Following the email threats, security at Saket Court, Rohini Court, and Patiala Court was significantly tightened. Delhi Police increased area monitoring, conducted extensive checks, and ensured all court premises were thoroughly searched. No explosives were discovered at any of the locations.

Jaish-e-Mohammed Linked to Threat Emails

Security sources confirmed that the threatening emails were sent under the name of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. The cyber cell is investigating the email’s origin, server hits, and technical parameters to determine whether the threats were real or a malicious prank.
