Health Scare and Hospitalisation
Earlier this month, Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital following breathing difficulties. During his hospital stay, reports suggested he was placed on ventilator support. On November 12, he was discharged and shifted home to continue his recovery. Both his family and doctors confirmed that he would receive medical care at home.
Renewed Concern: Ambulance & Security Outside His Home
On November 24, an ambulance was seen entering and later leaving Dharmendra’s Juhu residence, sparking widespread concern among fans and media. Security outside his home reportedly increased significantly, with barricades set up nearby. Police checks were conducted, and access around the property was restricted.
Death Confirmed, Funeral at Pawan Hans Crematorium
Dharmendra’s death was confirmed later in the day. According to reports, his last rites were performed at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu. Several Bollywood personalities, including family members, paid their respects.

Dharmendra’s legacy spans over six decades, with iconic roles in films such as Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta, Pratigya, and Dost. His final film, Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan, is slated to release on December 25, 2025.
